The Social Innovation & Investment Alliance (SIIA) is hosting a Social Innovation Networking Night to connect current Wagner students and alumni in the social innovation sector. The event will kick-off with a chat with Anna-Marie Wascher, the CEO and founder of Flat World Partners. In addition, Anna-Marie is a venture partner to Aera, a venture fund investing in high growth early stage ventures defined by both purpose and profit, and an advisor to Jacobs Technion-Cornell Institute and UrbanX, the incubator founded by BMW to drive capital into smart city technology. Anna-Marie previously served as a Director at Cantor Fitzgerald and started her career with Accenture as a financial consultant in their London investment banking practice as well as supported Accenture’s Socially Responsible business arm.

The chat will be followed by a facilitated networking session between current students and NYU Wagner alumni currently working in the social impact space. Business dress required. Drinks and light refreshments to be provided.

This event is the final event to the Career Development Series launched by SIIA earlier this semester to provide students with the professional tools, guidance, and networking opportunities to build career paths in the social impact, innovation & investment sector.
