PrivateNYU Wagner Open Spaces is an initiative developed to hold informal spaces for students to process timely world events. In the most recent instance of police brutality, this space will be held to process the senseless death of Daunte Wright, who was fatally shot by police during a traffic stop in Minnesota. It is in community that we can begin to discuss our roles as public servants and the power we have to create positive social change in society.
This NYU Wagner Open Space will be facilitated by Dr. Jude Elysée, a psychologist with NYU Wellness & Counseling Services and the Center for Multicultural Education and Programs.
NYU Wagner provides reasonable accommodations to people with disabilities.
Requests for accommodations for events and services should be submitted at least two weeks before the date of the accommodation need.
