WagRAC is leading an advocacy workshop and discussion that will equip attendees with tools and strategies to be effective advocates for the refugee community. Considering the time of year, we've partnered with the Faculty EDI Advisory Taskforce to include an instructional workshop about talking across the divide, something many students have to do when they return home to more conservative families for the holidays. We'll be hearing from Women For Afghan Women and our very own Professor David Elcott, while preparing ourselves for tough and necessary conversations with loved ones, friends, and those with whom we would strongly disagree.

NYU Wagner provides reasonable accommodations to people with disabilities. Requests for accommodations for events and services should be submitted at least two weeks before the date of the accommodation need. Please email sb5966@nyu.edu or call 212.998.7400 for assistance.
