Spring 2023 Conflict Series: Challenges of Building a Shared Society Inside Israel
Each Tuesday, the Conflict, Security, and Development Series will examine new research, discuss creative policy approaches, and highlight recent innovations in responding to the challenges of security and development in conflict and post-conflict situations.
This week, we welcome Mohammed Darawshe, Director of Strategy a the Center for Shared Society at Givat Haviva. This talk will examine the elements affecting building a shared society between Jews and Arabs inside the state of Israel, and will examine models of intervention to bring about good relations and equality between the two societies. It will also associate some these efforts to theories of social; change and conflict resolution.
Mohammad Darawshe holds a masters' degree in Peace and Conflict Management from Haifa University, and is a Robert Bosch Academy Fellow and faculty member at the Hartman Institute.
