CLASS Coalition is comprised of nearly one hundred principals from top-rated high schools

nationwide focused on closing the excellence gap—the disparity in achievement levels between

low-income and higher-income children with equal abilities—and strengthening the school to

workforce pipeline. The NYU Education Policy Network mission is to provide students with a

forum in which to network, debate, analyze policy, and explore the diverse career opportunities

within the field of education. The Education Advocacy Committee Student Leadership

Recruitment event is geared towards connecting CLASS Coalition leadership with graduate and

college students looking to join CLASS Advocacy Committee and work with the NYU

Education Policy Network to obtain hands on experience in promoting education policy. Light

food and beverage will be provided.
