Join NYU Wagner Alumni for a Holiday Event on Wednesday, December 5. At 6pm, Henry Gascon will present findings from Struggling to Stay Afloat: The Real Cost Measure in California 2018. Unlike the official poverty measure, the Real Cost Measure incorporates the cost of housing, food, health care, child care, and other basic needs to determine what it really costs to live in California. Henry will kick off the event with a brief poverty simulation, followed by a talk on what the Real Cost Measure looks like in Los Angeles.

Following the event, join us for a Holiday Happy Hour at Prank Bar, just a few blocks away.

7:30pm: Happy Hour at Prank: 1100 S. Hope Street, Los Angeles, CA 90015

We look forward to seeing you.
