Understanding Social Justice Investing
Join us in conversation with Rachel J. Robasciotti, founder and CEO of Adasina Social Capital. Adasina was founded by a queer, Black woman and is majority-owned and operated by women, people of color, and members of the LGBTQ+ community. Their diverse team reflects the impacted communities for which they seek justice. Adasina is committed to making large-scale, systemic change through investments in public markets through social justice investing. Engaging in social justice investing acknowledges that the influence of the financial markets extends beyond investors’ portfolios – it impacts the well-being and livelihoods of all people and our planet. This way of investing harnesses our collective power as investors to prioritize the social impact of investments, take direction from those most impacted, and dismantle inequitable systems to advance social justice.
