The NYU Urban Initiative presents Economist Jens Ludwig, Ph.D in line up of eminent international scholars for this year’s multidisciplinary Urban Research Seminar.

Jens Ludwig is the Edwin A. and Betty L. Bergman Distinguished Service Professor at the University of Chicago, director of the University of Chicago Crime Lab and co-director of the Education Lab, co-director of the National Bureau of Economic Research working group on the economics of crime, and non-resident senior fellow in economic studies at the Brookings Institution. He serves on the editorial board of the American Economic Review and is an elected member of the National Academy of Medicine.
