11:00am-11:30am

Title: Office Communication Made Easy with Slack

Presenter: Andrew D'Amico

Description: Tired of endless workplace emails? Wish you could recover that GChat conversation with your colleague from last Tuesday? Want to cut back on meetings and increase productivity? Welcome to Slack - a communication platform that will change the way you communicate in the office. Through this presentation, Andrew will present an overview of Slack, best practices for implementation within your team, tips for cross-unit collaboration, and integration with other common platforms (Gmail, To Do List, Hey Taco, etc.).

11:30am-12:00pm

Title: Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion: An Insider Look at NYU's Administrator's Cultural Training (ACT) Institute

Presenter: Rachel DuBois

Description: This presentation will provide attendees with an insider's lens of the ACT Institute, offered annually by NYU's Center for Multicultural Education and Programs. During this presentation, Rachel will give a sampling of what each of the Institute's sessions cover and discuss how the lessons she took away from this experience can be applied to the work we do at Wagner.
