Wagner Brainery
Please join us on Wednesday, March 20 for the latest Wagner Brainery! There will be only one presentation this session, divided into two parts. The description can be found below:
11:00am-11:30am
Title: Zooming into the 2020s (Part 1): An Introduction to Zoom for Administrators
Presenter: David Gastwirth
Description: NYU is likely going to move to Zoom as the University-supported video conferencing tool. It is also the tool being used throughout the Online MHA, including by faculty to host their weekly "Live Sessions." But Zoom also has some cool functions that will make your meetings with colleagues and students more engaging (and easier to do than with other video conferencing tools). The 2020s are coming...so let's get with the times.
11:30am-12:00pm
Title: Zooming into the 2020s (Part 2): Becoming a Zoom Rockstar
Presenter: David Gastwirth
Description: Seeing is believing? No way! Time to try Zoom for yourself (in groups). This session, only available to those who attend Part 1, is going to be interactive. Bring your laptop (if possible) or your smartphone. If you have a phone/computer headset, also bring that (but not required). NOTE: Participants for this session (Part 2) will be provided with a Zoom for Administrators account, possibly turbocharged with super fancy deluxe (SFD) features, free of charge.
