Join Wagner City Gov and ALAS for a service day and Happy Hour with Team TLC on Friday, December 1! Please note that you would not be attending for the full time frame listed on the calendar event -- refer to the info below for specific times. 

Team TLC provides direct support to asylum seekers and the broader community with a free store, as well as with accessing medical care and other services. We will be volunteering at their free store to help with setting up, distributing clothing, and cleaning up afterwards. 

Volunteer Shifts (10 slots per shift; first come, first serve)

  • Location: Repair the World - Brooklyn (808 Nostrand Ave., Brooklyn, NY 11216, closest to the Nostrand Ave 2/3/4) 
  • Time: 10:00-1:30 OR 1:30-5:00 (register at the form below)
  • NOTE: if you are available during the first shift and you live close to Crown Heights, please sign up for that shift. We want to make it easier for anyone coming from further away to stick around for the Happy Hour. 

Happy Hour (open to all!)

  • Location: Altar (10 min walk; 645 Sterling Pl, Brooklyn, NY 11238, closest to the Franklin Ave 2/3/4/5)
  • Time: 5:15-7:15
  • Free drinks and food!
  • If you can't join for a volunteer shift, come to the happy hour to learn more about Team TLC and how you can get involved (and about Wagner City Gov and ALAS)!
