On April 14th from 5-6pm, join us as we read and discuss Anand Giridharadas’ New York Times bestselling book, Winners Take All: The Elite Charade of Changing the World. The book is an investigation into how the world’s elite are working to “change the world” through philanthropic efforts, while simultaneously preserving the societal structure that keeps them at the top. The book raises important questions about the country’s current welfare state: should we continue to rely on the limited funding from the wealthiest institutions of our nation, or finally take on the grueling democratic work of building more robust, egalitarian institutions that work for all?

Register here to join us! The first 5 people to register will receive a FREE copy of the book!
