In this moment in time, it is important for our communities to come together to fight one common theme: White supremacy.

How can the Asian-American community fight for Black liberation? What does effective allyship look like? What tactics can we employ to ensure we are centering the needs of the Black community? How do we combat anti-Blackness in the Asian-American community? What does it mean to achieve Black liberation?

In this panel, Asian-American activists and Black liberationists will talk about their anti-racism work and what it means to be an ally in the #BlackLivesMatter movement.

We will learn how to hold loving but accountable conversations with our communities about the importance of acknowledging our own biases. We will also learn skills to employ that will allow us to get closer to our common goal as a community which is to defeat White supremacy.

These experts will help us understand AAPI allyship and our role in the fight for Black liberation.
