David Peknay

David Peknay is a senior health care analyst on the corporate health care team at S&P Global. He currently manages the health care services portfolio. He has also held other roles including Health Care Sector Specialist. His responsibilities have included investor outreach, thought leadership, and conference planning/development. His primary analytical coverage has included many high yield and investment grade companies in several health care sub-sectors including hospitals, nursing homes, healthcare IT, related health care services, and pharmaceutical companies. 

Prior to joining the corporate health care team, David covered not-for-profit health care organizations, higher education institutions, and tax-exempt housing credits for S&P’s public finance group. 

Before joining S&P Global, David was an internal consultant for a Philadelphia-area hospital. 

David holds a Master of Business Administration degree in Health Care Administration from the Fox School of Business at Temple University, and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from the State University of New York at Binghamton.
