Garrett Lucien is the Vice President of Programs and Training at Coro New York Leadership Center and an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Public Service at NYU Wagner. Garrett joined the Coro team in 2013. Since then he has been the lead Leadership Facilitator for all adult programs. Garrett brings a wealth of experience in facilitating and has over sixteen years of experience in the fields of Leadership and Community/Economic Development. His experience includes the design and delivery of leadership programs and fellowships for youth, college students, middle-managers, and executives on topics including Adaptive Leadership, Personal Ecology, DEI, Effective Communication, and Conflict Resolution. Garrett is a Board Member of Times Square Alliance and a member of their DEI Committee. 

Before coming to Coro, Garrett worked with South Bronx Overall Economic Development (SoBRO) for eight years, most recently as the Senior Director of Economic Development and Financial Services. While working at SoBRO, he specialized in assisting entrepreneurs to establish new businesses throughout the Bronx.

Garrett holds a B.A. from SUNY New Paltz and an MBA from Keller Graduate School of Business in New York. Garrett is a second-generation New Yorker who is passionate about helping people to develop skills to create positive change within themselves and their communities.
