Jacob is co-founder of Denizen Studios, an award-winning nonfiction production company whose projects span major film festivals, museum exhibitions, and news organizations. He’s received support from top-tier organizations like the Ford Foundation, Tribeca Institute, and Film Independent. He travels around the world producing documentaries and participating in acclaimed pitches, forums, and festivals. His filmmaking informs his approach to building authentic, trust-driven relationships with audiences and donors alike.
As an educator, Jacob teaches and mentors students and early-career professionals, bringing real-world fundraising strategy into workshops and trainings across industry settings. Jacob received his MPA from NYU Wagner Graduate School of Public Service and his BFA from NYU Tisch School of the Arts.
