Janna Goachee

Janna Goachee is a healthcare executive, Registered Nurse, and educator who serves as Founder and CEO of JLG Health Solutions LLC, a boutique healthcare consulting firm. Through JLG Health Solutions, she provides executive leadership augmentation and partners with health systems, payers, startups, and nonprofits to deliver customized strategies that improve efficiency, strengthen financial sustainability, and enhance patient outcomes. Her work focuses on helping organizations navigate complex challenges, adapt to industry transformation, and achieve measurable success in value-based care and population health.

With more than 15 years of combined clinical and executive leadership experience spanning providers, payers, government agencies, and startups, Janna brings a holistic perspective of the healthcare ecosystem. She is a recognized leader in value-based care transformation and population health management, specializing in initiatives that align clinical innovation with financial sustainability.

Previously, Janna served as Director of Population Health Operations at VillageMD, where she oversaw market-wide operations for a primary care MSO. In this role, she built high-performing interdisciplinary teams, expanded organizational capacity, and led initiatives that improved quality outcomes, financial performance, and care delivery across Medicare, Medicaid, and Commercial populations. Earlier in her career at the Mount Sinai Health System, she directed system-wide care delivery redesign for targeted complex populations, launched a transitions-of-care outreach center, and implemented initiatives that reduced readmissions, decreased acute length of stay, and expanded use of alternative care models.

As a Lecturer of Health Administration, Janna draws on this breadth of executive and consulting experience to bridge theory with practice. She emphasizes problem-solving, collaboration, and evidence-based approaches to healthcare management, preparing students to lead with both strategic vision and practical execution.

Janna earned her Master of Public Administration in Healthcare Policy and Management with high honors from New York University’s Wagner School of Public Service and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Central Florida, where she graduated magna cum laude.
