Jenny Doren, M.B.A., M.S., is an Adjunct Lecturer of Health Administration at NYU’s Robert F. Wagner Graduate School of Public Service. Storytelling has been a constant in Jenny’s career, which began in television news and evolved into executive leadership in health care marketing and communications.
Jenny serves as Vice President for Communications, Marketing, and Public Affairs at UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, TX, where she leads a team that elevates local, national, and international awareness of UT Southwestern’s innovative academic programs, biomedical research, and clinical care. She is skilled in developing memorable written, video, and digital communications to bolster institutional reputation, enhance consumer brand loyalty, and strengthen employee and community engagement.
Before joining UT Southwestern in 2016, Jenny worked for nearly a decade as a television reporter in Illinois; Washington, D.C.; and Dallas.
Jenny holds an executive M.B.A. in Healthcare Organization Leadership from UT Dallas, a master’s degree in journalism from Northwestern University, and an undergraduate degree in English from the University of Michigan.
