Jon Brumer

Jonathan (Jon) Brumer is a health care administrative law litigation attorney at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS)’s Office of the General Counsel, in its Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) Division.  He advises CMS, represents HHS, and works with the Department of Justice on cases in federal district and appellate courts around the country involving Medicare, Medicaid, and the Affordable Care Act.

Jon obtained his law degree from the Duke University School of Law. He graduated summa cum laude from the State University of New York at Stony Brook in Stony Brook, NY where he was a member of the Honors College, an Economics major, and a Political Science minor.  Jon grew up in New York City, but now lives in Washington, D.C. with his family.
