Joseph Brence is a Senior Lecturer at NYU’s Robert F. Wagner Graduate School of Public Service.
Dr. Brence, PT, DPT, MBA, FAAOMPT, DAC, is an energetic healthcare innovator and leader with a demonstrated track record of clinical excellence, specifically focusing on strategies to transform the delivery of post-acute care. Dr. Brence is currently employed by MedBridge (healthcare technology start-up in Seattle, WA) as the Head of Home and Community Care Strategy and Solutions. Prior to this role, he focused on innovation, strategy and education within the post-acute division of a large IDFS. Dr. Brence is an equity partner at the Nxt Gen Institute of Physical Therapy and sits on the advisory board for the Rangos School of Health Sciences at Duquesne University. He has assisted with national healthcare strategy efforts at the American Physical Therapy Association, as well as the Department of the VA.
