KP Trueblood is a seasoned organizational strategist with nearly two decades of experience strengthening mission-driven institutions through operational excellence, financial discipline, and integrated leadership. Her work centers on aligning resources to deliver maximum impact—ensuring that every dollar, hour, and decision drives measurable progress toward mission.
KP brings a proven track record of building high-performing teams, streamlining systems, and leading enterprise-wide initiatives across complex, fast-paced environments. She has played a central role in designing cross-functional strategies that unite program and operations, launching data-driven initiatives, and leading major organizational transformations behind the scenes.
Her career spans leadership roles in both the public and nonprofit sectors. She has served as President and COO of the Brooklyn Museum, Chief of Staff at the ACLU, Director of White House Operations for President Barack Obama, Deputy CFO and Budget Director for Hillary for America, and Director of Operations for the Clinton-Kaine Presidential Transition. Earlier in her career, she served in the United States Air Force, worked for U.S. Senator Patty Murray, and was a member of the inaugural class of Hamilton Fellows at the U.S. Department of the Treasury.
KP holds a Master of Public Affairs from Sciences Po in Paris and a bachelor’s degree from the University of Washington. She lives in Brooklyn with her husband Ezra and their two children, Jude and Violet.
