Prachi currently serves as a public sector consultant at Baker Tilly, where she advises municipal clients on complex financial and strategic challenges. Her work focuses on helping local governments align financial tools with broader public service objectives, supporting responsible and impactful investment in their communities.
Previously, Prachi worked in an investment banking public finance role, where she supported bond financings for over 40 governmental entities across the Northeast. In this capacity, she specialized in capital planning and debt financing, guiding clients through the development and execution of funding strategies for critical infrastructure projects.
Prachi brings a strong background in public sector finance and management, with five years of experience working directly with local governments, including the New York City Office of Management and Budget and the City of Alameda. At NYC OMB, she contributed to the capital budget for the Health+Hospitals agency, partnering with agency leadership to assess operational needs, forecast expenditures, and allocate resources to advance essential healthcare infrastructure and services.
She is deeply committed to advancing positive change in the public sector and brings a strong analytical skill set combined with a deep understanding of stakeholder dynamics. Her ability to build consensus, foster collaboration, and deliver data-informed, mission-driven solutions is central to her approach.
Prachi holds a Master of Public Administration from Syracuse University and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and City Planning from the University of California, Berkeley.
