Ryan Mullin is an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Health Administration of NYU’s Robert F. Wagner Graduate School of Public Service.
As Regional Vice-President, working in close partnership with Ethan Foxman, MD, Ryan oversees the non-clinical functions of Jefferson Radiology, the largest radiology provider in the state of CT and a founding member of MEDNAX Radiology Solutions. This oversight includes teams spanning ambulatory and inpatient operations, finance and accounting, marketing and business development, billing and collections, quality and safety, facilities administration, and medical staff operations. Since joining Jefferson Radiology in 2017, Ryan has focused on driving transformational change throughout the organization, helping to enhance relationships with hospital and referring provider partners and to expand service offerings into new geographies. His extensive expertise in strategic finance and operations, business acquisitions, and enterprise-wide system deployments allow him to continuously process-improve and drive value across the practice. Ryan has spearheaded many high-impact projects and leads the development of valuable new partnerships for Jefferson Radiology in the New England Market, resulting in substantial organic growth.
Ryan is passionate about employing strategic financial and operational planning as a tool to ensure the best outcomes for the future of patient care and treatment.
He is a data-driven decision-maker, an expert in a variety of financial systems and operational tools, and is well-versed in project management with demonstrated success in leading the full lifecycle of large projects. Ryan understands that he is only as good as the teams he leads, and is highly committed to training, coaching, and mentoring his staff and colleagues.
Ryan is a big-4 trained auditor and management consultant, having attained the title of Consulting Manager while at PricewaterhouseCoopers. Further, Ryan was the first Director of Business Planning at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute in Boston, MA where he built a team responsible for providing strategic finance support during a time of significant growth at the organization. As Regional Director of Financial Planning, Ryan led financial integration efforts within Trinity Health of New England, the largest Trinity Health Ministry in the country. Ryan holds a Bachelor of Science from Providence College and a dual Master’s degree in Accountancy and Business Administration from Northeastern University. He is a Certified Public Accountant and is a member of both the Massachusetts and Connecticut Society of CPAs.
