Dr. Stephen H. Liebowitz is the Director of the Spine Service Line at Hospital for Special Surgery (HSS), where he leads operations and strategy for one of the nation’s premier spine programs. He oversees initiatives to enhance patient access, care delivery, and clinical integration across both inpatient and outpatient settings. Dr. Liebowitz also serves on the Board of Directors for the Connecticut Association of Healthcare Executives, where he is currently Secretary and Vice President-elect.
With a background in healthcare consulting and interim leadership, Dr. Liebowitz brings extensive experience in performance improvement, market growth, and service line transformation in both academic and community settings.
