This capstone project strengthens impact evaluation for the Inteleos Foundation’s Accelerator Ambassador Program, which supports clinicians implementing point-of-care ultrasound (POCUS) across diverse global health settings. As the program expanded, inconsistent reporting and limited standardized metrics made it difficult to assess impact and compare outcomes across sites. Our team conducted a comprehensive review of existing reporting tools, refined quarterly and annual surveys, and developed a streamlined logic model linking program inputs to measurable outcomes. We also incorporated qualitative insights from Ambassador interviews to capture implementation challenges and contextual variation.

Our analysis found that while training outputs are consistently strong, gaps in longitudinal and standardized data limit the Foundation’s ability to evaluate sustained impact. We recommend introducing clearer indicators, improving data consistency, and integrating qualitative and quantitative approaches. These changes provide a scalable framework to better measure program effectiveness, support strategic decision-making, and enhance Inteleos’s global health impact.
