Broadway Advocacy Coalition (BAC) is an arts-based advocacy organization that unites artists and directly impacted advocates to advance justice and systemic change. As BAC continues to expand its programming and impact, strengthening financial sustainability and fundraising effectiveness is critical to supporting its long-term mission. The team conducted an in-depth analysis of multi-year donor data, complemented by internal interviews and benchmarking. Key analyses include retention, annual new donor acquisition, major donor concentration, and gap analysis against strategic targets. It applied donor segmentation and lifecycle modeling to better understand donor attrition patterns and re-engagement opportunities. The recommendations focus on strengthening the link between audience engagement and donor conversion, and building a more structured fundraising system through donor segmentation, a recurring donor strategy, and major donor development. These strategies enable BAC to prioritize high-value and engaged donors, improve retention and recurring giving, and strengthen long-term financial sustainability.
