I cannot attend the Fellowship for Emerging Leaders in Public Service all-day Orientation. Can I still apply for the program?
Unfortunately, no. The Orientation is mandatory for all Fellows. If you cannot attend the Orientation this year, we encourage you to apply next year.
I recently graduated from graduate school, but your materials say most Fellows in the FELPS will have graduated from their undergraduate institutions within 2 to 4 years. Should I still apply?
Regardless of additional educational experiences, applicants should have graduated from their undergraduate institutions within the last 2 to 4 years.
What is the John Brademas Center for the Study of Congress?
The mission of the John Brademas Center for the Study of Congress is to increase the understanding of Congress-"the People's Branch" of government- its role in making policy; its powers, processes, and responsibilities. The Center's bi-partisan work is aimed at scholars, students, current and future public servants, and the public.
