Bloomberg Fellows Meet with New York Public Service Leaders for Post-Election Conversation
In November, NYU Wagner’s Bloomberg Fellows were treated to a timely, meaningful post-election conversation, featuring three speakers at the forefront of New York City public service.
- Senator Brian Kavanagh represents more than 330,000 residents in New York’s Senate District 27, covering neighborhoods across lower Manhattan. As Chair of the Senate Committee on Housing, Construction and Community Development, Brian has worked to secure huge public investments in housing and related services. Read a full biography here.
- Kathryn A. Garcia serves as Director of State Operations for the State of New York. She previously served as Commissioner of the NYC Department of Sanitation, appointed in March 2014 by Mayor Bill de Blasio. Read a full biography here.
