Among this year’s honorees are two NYU Wagner alumni, Elisabeth Wynn and Lourdes Zapata, who have made remarkable contributions in healthcare and transportation, respectively, shaping policy and driving change in their fields.
Elisabeth Wynn (MPA 2004), Executive Vice President, Finance, Economics, Surveys and Outcomes Research, Greater New York Hospital Association
Elisabeth Wynn has spent over 25 years at the Greater New York Hospital Association, where she leads efforts to address healthcare financial and policy challenges. As executive vice president, she plays a key role in navigating complex issues like Medicaid, health equity, and reimbursement policies.
Lourdes Zapata (MPA 1992), Chief Diversity and Inclusion Officer, Metropolitan Transportation Authority
Lourdes Zapata has built her career around advocating for diversity, equity, and inclusion, both in the nonprofit and public sectors. At the MTA, she leads efforts to promote equal opportunity and has fostered a more inclusive and diverse workplace.
