City & State’s Power of Diversity: Women 100 celebrates the achievements of women leaders across New York.  Three NYU Wagner alumni are among the 2024 honorees, recognizing their visionary leadership and commitment to social impact.

32. RuthAnne Visnauskas (MPA 1996), Commissioner and CEO, New York State Homes and Community Renewal

RuthAnne Visnauskas is leading New York’s efforts to tackle the housing crisis, overseeing the state’s $650 million initiative to promote “pro-housing communities.” As Commissioner and CEO of New York State Homes and Community Renewal, she plays a pivotal role in advancing affordable housing and ensuring equitable access to safe and stable homes for all New Yorkers. 

41. Tiffany Raspberry (MPA 2005), Director, NYC Mayor’s Office of Intergovernmental Affairs

Tiffany Raspberry has been a key figure in navigating complex political dynamics as Director of the Mayor’s Office of Intergovernmental Affairs. With a deep understanding of New York City’s legislative landscape, Raspberry manages relationships with state and local lawmakers and works to promote effective governance in the city.

46. Jennifer Jones Austin (MPA 1993), CEO and Executive Director, FPWA

A longtime advocate for equity and justice, Jennifer Jones Austin leads FPWA, a century-old organization dedicated to uplifting vulnerable communities through its network of member agencies. Beyond her role at FPWA, Jones Austin serves as co-chair of the National True Cost of Living Coalition and on the New York State Community Commission on Reparations Remedies.
