Two NYU Wagner Alumni Named to City & State Power Lists

In City & State’s recent power lists, a pair of NYU Wagner alumni were recognized for their professional accomplishments. Neela Mukherjee Lockel (MPA-PNP 2007) was named to the Leaders of Long Island list and Jen Hensley (MPA-PNP 2008) was named to the Above & Beyond: Social Services list. 

Neela Mukherjee Lockel (MPA 2007), President and CEO, EAC Network

In 2021, Lockel returned to EAC Network, a human services nonprofit, as president and CEO after beginning her Long Island career there in 2006. In her current role, she oversees 100 programs that serve over 65,000 people annually and has prioritized internal inclusion improvements. Additionally, Lockel is a former Red Cross executive and founding director of Girls Inc. of Long Island.

Jen Hensley (MPA 2008), Senior Vice President of Corporate Affairs, Con Edison

As senior vice president of corporate affairs at Con Edison, one of the oldest and largest energy providers in the nation, Hensley is focused on steering the company into the future of energy. She leads communications, government and community relations, marketing, and philanthropy, working to ensure that customers benefit from the transition to clean energy. Through her work, the company has launched a $4 million climate justice grant program and $3 million investment in climate resilience in underserved neighborhoods.
