Two NYU Wagner Alumni Recognized Among City & State’s 2024 Trailblazers in Economic Development

City & State’s 2024 Trailblazers in Economic Development list recognizes outstanding leaders who are driving transformative economic growth and job creation across New York State. Among the 2024 honorees are two NYU Wagner alumni—Rosalie Drago and Marjorie Parker—whose leadership in economic development has had a transformative impact on their communities and industries.

Rosalie Drago (EMPA 2012), vice president, external affairs and strategic engagement, Haugland Group

Marjorie Parker (MPA 2008), president and CEO, JobsFirstNYC

As the president and CEO of JobsFirstNYC, Parker has worked to create pathways to employment for young people and underserved communities throughout New York City. She leads the organization’s efforts to build strong educational pipelines, advocate for workforce development policies, and foster partnerships that support long-term economic growth.
