Two Wagner Community Members Named 2025 APPAM Equity & Inclusion Fellows

Marilu Aguilar (BA-MPA 2026) and Maribel Fernandez (MPA-HPAM 2025) were named Association for Public Policy Analysis and Management (APPAM) Equity & Inclusion Fellows for 2025. 

The Equity & Inclusion Fellowship provides undergraduates, graduate students and young professionals from traditionally underrepresented backgrounds the opportunity to network with public policy professionals and fellow emerging leaders at the APPAM Annual Fall Research Conference. This year’s conference will take place in Seattle and focus on the theme Forging Collaborations for Transformative and Resilient Policy Solutions. 

Aguilar was one of five undergraduates and Fernandez was one of 40 graduate students to be awarded the highly selective Fellowship.
