EMPA for Global Policy Leaders

Policy and Management on a Complex International Stage

ucl-wagner-logo_0.jpg

Today’s global policy leaders see the world through a unique lens. Where others see an inextricably complex cross-sector issue, you see a policy challenge ready for a creative approach. Where others see a tangle of multiple stakeholders who span several cultures, you see collaborators with a common purpose. The chance to deliver effective and sustainable solutions to unprecedented global challenges is exactly what drives you.

The Master of Public Administration, Executive program in Global Public Policy and Management (EMPA for Global Policy Leaders), offered jointly with University College London's School of Public Policy (UCL), provides experienced leaders like you—analysts, decision makers, and managers in domestic and international organizations, and in the public, nonprofit, and private sectors—the chance to expand your knowledge base and sharpen your skill set. As a full-time student, you’ll craft effective solutions to problems in the face of global and local policy and management challenges. You’ll:

  • Balance advantages of public and private sector actors
  • Promote successful inter-governmental cooperation at all levels
  • More effectively link policy analysis with policy implementation
  • Broadly ensure that policy is meeting its intended objectives and improving human welfare

Whatever your chosen field, as a global leader you'll need to be able to develop and implement creative, cross-sector policies in a complex environment in which many communities and organizations have a stake. This program will prepare you to do exactly that.
