International Students generally make up 10-15% of the NYU Wagner student population. With representation from over 33 countries, they bring an element of diversity that enriches the Wagner community and enhances the learning experience.
There is no special application for international students; however, those applying from abroad must apply by the scholarship deadline. Please visit Applying To Wagner for current deadlines. Students are encouraged to apply early so that they will have enough time to arrange for a visa.
International students are eligible for scholarships, as NYU Wagner gives equal consideration to scholarship applicants from within the United States and abroad.
The Wagner International Student Society (WISS) is a student organization established to raise concerns unique to international students and serve as a liaison between relevant administrative units and international students.
The Office of International Programs (OIP) plays an integral role in Wagner's international activities. The office oversees students whose field of interest involves an international concentration and students who are coming to NYU from abroad. They also arrange exchange programs, assist faculty in their international work, and support international student interests.
The Office for International Students and Scholars (OISS) provides comprehensive support and advisory services for New York University's international students, scholars, and their dependents, including processing of student visas. Wagner students are encouraged to utilize these resources.
