Navigating the Territories of Indigenous Leadership: Exploring the Experiences and Practices of Australian Indigenous Arts Leaders

In this RCLA event, Dr. Michelle Evans will discuss her research on the experiences and practices of Australian Indigenous arts leaders within the context of practical leadership application.

Dr. Evans is a Research Fellow at Melbourne Business School and leads the School's research agenda on Indigenous Business and Leadership development. This role includes directing Australia's first Indigenous Business Master Class series - MURRA - established to skill up Indigenous entrepreneurs.

She is currently in the US replicating her doctoral study, interviewing First Alaskan, Native American and Native Hawaiian artists and arts managers about their practice and their contribution to leadership to compare and contrast with her prior research.
