As the program administrator for the Research Center for Leadership in Action, Grisel Caicedo manages the design and delivery of a variety of RCLA programs, including leadership research and development efforts.
Grisel brings experience in higher education, program administration, grant management, event planning, relationship building and student advising. Her professional interests include facilitating access to education and professional leadership development for international and immigrant communities.
Her career at NYU started in 2007 when Grisel joined the NYU Stern School of Business Career Services. While at Stern, Grisel coordinated the on-campus recruitment process, partnered with companies to develop recruitment strategies, and liaised with student leaders to facilitate event planning and corporate relationships.
Prior to joining NYU, Grisel was a program advisor for the Organization of American States (OAS) Scholarship program administered by LASPAU, an affiliate of Harvard University. In this role, she managed grants awarded to students pursuing Graduate Studies in Latin America and Canada, advised students on a variety of issues related to the scholarship experience, and developed relationships with academic institutions in the region.
Grisel holds a Bachelors degree in Economics and International Relations from Boston University and is pursuing an MPA from NYU Wagner with a specialization in International Policy and Management.
