“Well-Measured Transportation Planning,” a seminar with Todd Litman, Founder and Executive Director of Victoria Transport Policy Institute
On February 23, 2006, the NYU Wagner Rudin Center for Transportation Policy & Management and Transportation Alternatives will be hosting “Well-Measured Transportation Planning,” a seminar with Todd Litman, Founder and Executive Director of the Victoria Transport Policy Institute. Mr. Litman will discuss several approaches to measuring and targeting transportation system performance. To what degree are walking, cycling, and public transit travel undercounted in travel surveys and undervalued in economic analysis? And how can the accessibility benefits of smart growth land use reforms be evaluated? The event is from 2:30 to 4:00 p.m. and will take place at NYU Kimmel Center, 60 Washington Square South, Room 914. Seating is limited.
