Newark Mayoral Candidate Talks Candidly with Emerging Leaders about His Career

Newark Council Member Ras J. Baraka, who announced on February 27 that he is running for Mayor of Newark, spoke at an intimate, off-the-record event with RCLA's Fellowship for Emerging Leaders in Public Service on March 6.

Mr. Baraka has long held dual roles as a political figure and the principal of Central High School, and talked with the fellows about his family, history of activism, hopes for the future, and public service career.
