Why did you choose NYU Wagner for graduate school?

I thought I was heading into a career in the public or nonprofit sectors. While I ultimately ended up in the private sector, my experience at NYU Wagner helped me bring a public-minded lens to my work. I work for a company with a mission to "give people the power to build community, and bring the world closer together." This mission is a great example of the incredible public-minded work being accomplished in the private sector today.

Can you tell us a bit about your job responsibilities?

I lead a global client relationship at Facebook, where my responsibilities entail building a strong, mutually beneficial partnership, helping my client grow their business on our platforms, and solving complex business and marketing challenges. I work with my client's day-to-day marketing leaders up to the c-suite, and I get to collaborate internally with cross-functional leaders across marketing science, solutions engineering, product management, product marketing, and our own in-house creative team.

What were you doing before you came to NYU Wagner?

I worked one job between graduating college and attending NYU Wagner: I was a Program Coordinator at the Center for Civic Education.
