How would you describe your experience as an NYU Wagner student?
I enjoyed my cohort and felt we formed a close bond. I appreciated that we were diverse in background and perspectives and could come together to learn from and support each other.
Can you tell us a bit about your job responsibilities?
I head up TrailWatch, one of the initiatives of WYNG Foundation which is a private philanthropic foundation in Hong Kong. I am responsible for steering the direction and strategy of TrailWatch, which combines hiking and physical activity outdoors with the conservation and protection of nature. Two other themes we have been promoting are inclusive hiking and nature for wellbeing.
I also founded Women In Sports Empowered Hong Kong, a nonprofit that champions sports for women and girls.
What’s your next step?
First, I plan to stay on as Project Director at TrailWatch. I also look forward to growing and scaling up Women In Sports Empowered Hong Kong. In 2019 I wrote a children's book, which I would like to turn into a series. Finally, another aspiration is to eventually start some type of either philanthropic or investment fund for women in sports.
