Why did you choose Wagner for graduate school?

I chose Wagner because of the faculty. Everyone I worked with and studied under had an incredible amount of knowledge (practical and academic) of international development and an impressive network, which they were more than willing to put me in contact with.

How did you find your first post-Wagner job?

The Capstone experience led me to my first job in international development, a field difficult to break into, especially for someone making a career shift like myself. This was eased by my experience working in groups on deliverables with tangible applications for the client. At the Capstone Expo, I made the rounds and practiced my by-then conversational elevator pitch on clients—one of whom was Brooklyn Bridge to Cambodia.

Describe your current job.

At the World Food Programme in Cambodia, I project manage Prism, which is a system that aggregates data from different ministries and spits it out onto a map that shows decision-makers a number of different indicators--so that they can make decisions based on what is happening on the ground.
