Why did you choose Wagner for graduate school?

I was looking for a graduate program that would give me solid skills to do the international development work I was interested in, and I found Wagner to be one of the only schools where there was strong focus on hard skills rather than the theory behind development.

Describe your current job.

I manage the human rights projects of the Office (which works under both a UN Department of Peacekeeping and OHCHR mandate), as well as the external relations of the Office. In addition, I am greatly involved in the strategic planning of the Office.

What are the advantages of the Wagner alumni network?

As a result of the Wagner alumni network, I met a fellow Wagner grad who, because he knew what skills I had gained in the program, was able to hire me into the Joint Human Rights Office, where I immediately started doing the work I had left New York wanting to do.
