How did being in New York impact your professional journey?
Being in New York gives me professional stability in employment opportunities. I have been very fortunate to work for some of the country’s top healthcare institutions right here in New York. It is an exciting place to be because of the opportunity to engage in strategies from an organizational or public perspective.
How would you describe your experience as a Wagner student?
I was a member of the group of students who worked full-time while attending classes at night and on the weekends. Despite my limited availability, I was fully integrated into the Wagner community due to the School’s commitment towards its students. I never felt like a “commuter student,” and I always felt I was a part of a community. The Faculty, student groups and student leaders were resources that were always available to me then as they are now.
Describe your current job.
I am responsible for my department’s clinical enterprise; overseeing all of our locations’ operations, patient experience, human resource management, quality and patient safety, facilities management, information technology, business and organizational development.
