Why did you choose NYU Wagner for graduate school?

I pursued my MPA to build my network, enhance my resume particularly in leadership and management, to become an expert in administration in the public sector by obtaining education in best practices, to give myself the ability to earn a better salary, to be more competitive personally in the job market, to open doors through classmates and professors, to have an amazing capstone experience.

Can you tell us a bit about your job responsibilities?

My position is the Chief Fiscal Officer and Clerk for the Village, responsible for proper administration of the financial affairs and legal records of the Village, with powers and duties as set forth in the Village Code and New York State Statutes.

How did your experiences at NYU Wagner prepare you for your career?

I learned so much from my classmates and professors. I thought that it was so wonderful to have work experience as part of the admission process because everyone could share and provide real life examples. We took our learning to a whole new level by applying it to our practice.
