Why did you choose Wagner for graduate school?
I chose Wagner and NYU Stern because I wanted to work, live, and build in New York City. What better place to understand the world of social change than being in the heart of it all? There is no better place in the world to be in graduate school than New York City, and no university in New York quite like NYU. The depth and breadth of professional networks within a 50 block radius of the Puck Building are truly one of a kind.
How would you describe your experience as a Wagner student?
Every day at NYU was a new adventure. Learning from world-class faculty. Meeting colleagues from all over the world. Exploring all that New York could offer me—professionally, culturally, and socially. I loved the ability to shape a truly individual experience.
Describe your current job.
Appleseeds Academy is an Israeli NGO that helps Israelis from disadvantaged communities get job opportunities in the tech economy. We provide computer training and job placement services to help folks better their station in life. In the process, we're fighting for a more pluralistic society in Israel. As Director of Knowledge Management, my role is to help the organization build data systems and use them to make smarter strategic decisions.
