Can you tell us a bit about your job responsibilities?

As Director of Operations for the CAPC program, I oversee the day-to-day operations of our real estate development and related work. CAPC is the real estate development entity of New Jersey's largest CDFI and our mission is to acquire vacant and abandoned properties to stabilize and revitalize communities. CAPC provides a vertically integrated model of affordable housing development including asset management, construction/rehab administration, property management, and a full-service real estate brokerage.

How did your experiences at NYU Wagner prepare you for your career?

My time at NYU Wagner helped me develop a foundation of understanding and context for the work I do every day. Housing and Economic Development can look different in different communities but the challenges, context, and pathways to success are similar. I developed skills and knowledge during my time at Wagner and at the Furman Center that help me contribute to the mission of my organization in a meaningful way.
