Why did you choose NYU Wagner for graduate school?

I chose NYU Wagner because I really liked how the school offered a large variety of courses and specializations. I wanted to learn more about broad management and policy topics and theories, while also diving further specifically into education in NYC.

How would you describe your experience as an NYU Wagner student?

During my time as an NYU Wagner student, I learned so much from my peers and professors who brought a diverse range of backgrounds and experiences into the classroom and student groups.

How did being in New York City impact your professional journey?

Throughout my time at NYU Wagner, I was able to gain professional experiences in NYC. It was great to be able to take what I was learning in the classroom and put it in to practice right away in various jobs and internships. I was also able to build my network while I was in school, which helped me to quickly secure a job post-NYU Wagner.

Can you tell us a bit about your job responsibilities?

In my current role, I open and support new 3-K, pre-K, Dual Language, and early childhood special education classrooms. I also collaborate with multiple stakeholders, including Superintendents and Principals, to analyze data and ensure we have the right number and type of early childhood seats citywide.
