How would you describe your experience as an NYU Wagner student?
I felt energized at all the new ideas and policy I was learning. While I was involved somewhat in extra curricular Wagner activities, I primarily sought to apply the things I learned. Group projects were the heart of many classes, so Wagner helped me make great friends that I keep in contact with today.
How did you find your first post-NYU Wagner job?
A professor at Wagner helped me get my foot in the door at a new organization.
How did your Wagner experience prepare you professionally for what you are doing today?
There is one class, Continuous Quality Improvement, that gave me great exposure to what I currently do on a daily basis. However, Wagner prepared me to think about healthcare management and policy critically, and gave me the language to be able to articulate myself in a new setting with greater ease.
Have you found any advantages to being a part of the NYU Wagner alumni network?
Good, smart people who work in interesting places. And, Wagner Alumni generally want what's best for society and others.
