Can you tell us a bit about your job responsibilities?
The courses I teach include International Capstone: Advanced Projects, Economics of International Development, and Monitoring, Evaluation & Learning in Global Affairs. My evaluation work focuses on programs operating at the intersection of poverty & health with a regional focus of central Africa.
What were you doing before you came to NYU Wagner?
20+ years of various roles in operations at an international nonprofit led me to finally pursue an undergraduate degree in political science & human rights at Columbia University (graduation 2007).
What impact do you hope to make through your career and/or organization?
With my evaluation work, I create evidence to improve the quality of interventions delivered among low-income, low-infrastructure communities. With my teaching, I train others how to create and evaluate similar evidence. Both are to help others to design and deliver better interventions.
